CogentDC Network maintenance

Dear Customer,

Cogent, the network transport provider for our CogentDC location, has notified us of scheduled maintenance. This affects only services hosted in CogentDC. Other locations are not affected, and services hosted in FR5 or FR7 will continue to run normally.

Maintenance window: 10 June 2026, 00:00 to 06:00 CEST
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (CogentDC)
Expected impact: VPS and dedicated servers at this location will remain powered on throughout. Only their internet connectivity is affected and will be interrupted during the window, for up to 180 minutes. The actual downtime is likely to be shorter.

This maintenance is performed by Cogent on their own network, and the details above reflect the information they have shared with us. We deliberately booked redundant paths for this connection. However, Cogent terminates both of our links on different line cards but on the same router, so both links are affected and downtime cannot be avoided. We understand this is far from ideal, and we are already in discussions with Cogent on a more resilient setup to prevent this from happening again.

Our team will monitor the maintenance from start to finish and, as far as it is within our control, keep the downtime as short as possible. If your service does not return to normal after the window closes, or if you have any questions before then, please reach out to us via ticket.
